This Privacy Policy of SELETO BANK, on the websites seletobank.com and seletobank.com.br ("Policy") describes the privacy policies of SELETO BANK PAGAMENTOS, a provider of online payment services OR, the corresponding ("SELETO BANK", “SELECT”, “PLATFORM”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “our”). We want you to know that protecting your personal information is very important to us and we respect your privacy. This policy applies to all users of www.seletobank.com and www.seletobank.com.br (the “SITE” or PLATFORM) and explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we protect it and when we disclose it to third parties. What is a Payment Institution?
The Central Bank defines as Payment Institutions (IPs) the companies that perform the services of purchase and sale and movement of financial resources, within the scope of an arrangement of payment, without the possibility of granting loans and financing to its customers.

As well as Resolution 4658 of 2018 e Resolution 4752 of the Brazilian Central Bank (issue of 20 BACEN) cybersecurity for financial institutions. Both aim to provide adequate and consistent safeguards for the handling of personal information.

This document determines how SELETO BANK PAGAMENTOS, a company duly registered with the CNPJ/MF under nº 34.049.840/0001-60, provider of online payment services OR, correspondents and partners collect, use and share your personal data received while you browse on the SELETO BANK website, mobile application or use SELETO BANK API applications and services. Hereafter, the mentioned methods for accessing SELETO BANK will be referred to as “PLATFORM”.
It is important to make it clear that, in order to make the PLATFORM available, tasks performed by a variable number of companies are necessary. All these companies have signed a non-disclosure agreement with SELETO BANK and follow this Privacy Policy when managing their data.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED
As you use the PLATFORM, we collect information from and about you from different sources. Part of the data collected may be provided by your environment (browser, computer, smartphone, etc.); some of the data collected may come from external services and partners; part of the data collected you are asked to provide.
1.1 Our account confirmation procedure requires you to provide personal documents, including photos. This information will be used to verify your identity and protect our users from fraud.
1.1.1 Personal documents may be shared with third parties, including but not limited to law enforcement agencies, in case of suspected involvement in illegal activities.
1.2 Your profile settings require additional data such as address and full name. This information is used in conjunction with the collected data listed in 1.1 during fraud investigations. This information can also be used during support procedures.
1.3 We collect your IP address and share your IP address, without any information that can relate the IP address to you, with third party services that provide IP tracking. These services provide us with your approximate geographic location coordinates (latitude and longitude) and political divisions (city, state, country, time zone, etc.). This data is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.
1.4 Whenever you access the PLATFORM, we generate a unique identifier based on your environment (the “fingerprint”). This information is used to recognize your machine and protect your account from unauthorized access. This information can also be used during investigations.
1.5 We may also collect your browsing and transaction patterns and record your browsing in order to improve your experience on the PLATFORM.
1.6 We collect and store information provided by your environment (browser or smartphone), which includes but is not limited to user agent, browser and operating system versions, screen resolution, language, time zone, CPU architecture and manufacturer. This information is used to improve your experience on the PLATFORM.
1.7 We collect email addresses and telephone numbers that you provide. This contact information may be shared in case of suspected involvement in illegal activities with law enforcement agencies.
1.8. We may collect facial recognition data during the "Proof of Life" stage of our account verification procedure, both on our web platform and in our smartphone apps. These details include unique facial indicators that can be used to identify you. To collect such data, we make use of third-party libraries that run entirely on your device (no connection to third-party services is made).
1.8.1. We may use additional facial recognition or fingerprint recognition tools for local security in our smartphone applications, including tools that are not limited to recognition through images, but through 3D mapping or other means. However, such tools do not share with us details collected by biometric sensors, but only the result of recognition as an absolute value (success or failure).
2. USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
The information collected is used in one or more of the following ways:
2.1 To properly offer the service. The data collected is essential for us to provide the features that your SELETO BANK account has access to.
2.2 To improve your experience. We use analytics to better understand our users' behavior on our platform.
2.3 To verify your identity. We use the details provided as part of our Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money Laundering (KYC/AML, or "know your customer" and "anti-money laundering") procedures.
2.4 To issue communications. We may send conditional communications to some of our users.
2.5 Investigations. We analyze, through automated models and human verification, your account activity to protect our users from fraud, illegal activity or involvement in any of the prohibited uses and businesses (available at www.seletobank/ prohibited ).
2.6 Transactions with service providers and partners. We may use your personal data to carry out our partner's KYC/AML procedures and other possible requirements.
2.7 Third Party Applications. If you grant access to an application with the API SELECT BANK API, we will share detailed information about your account and personal information, including the ability to take actions on your behalf. The use of your data is subject to the terms and privacy policy.
2.8. Your facial recognition data is used to certify that the person responsible for registering your account is, in fact, you and not someone trying to impersonate you. Such data is never shared with third parties.
3. PROTECT THE INFORMATION COLLECTED
We maintain internal security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration or accidental loss.
3.1 We keep your personal information physically secure by protecting the servers where we store user information and controlling access to it, allowing only those who need this data to fulfill their responsibilities.
3.2 We keep your personal information digitally secure by following network security and management standards such as strong encryption (AES-256) of your data while traveling internally or to authorized third parties, maintaining network firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
3.3 We limit access to your personal information to employees and third parties, allowing them to access only the set of information they need access to. These individuals and organizations have signed non-disclosure agreements with SELETO BANK and are required to keep all information confidential.
3.4 Please note that there are still security risks, as no organization can genuinely guarantee the absence of this risk. Bad actors can circumvent even the most advanced security system.
4. SHARING OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
We may share your information internally, between SELETO BANK agents or externally.
4.1 We may share your data with service providers and partners, including but not limited to banking institutions and payment service providers.
4.2 We may share your data with law enforcement agencies when requested by a court or if we suspect that you are involved in illegal activities.
4.3 We do not sell, exchange or transfer your personal data to third parties who are not involved in the process of maintaining the set of resources to which you have access, nor to those who have not signed a confidentiality agreement with SELETO BANK. In most cases, our partners have limited access to your information, and in many situations you are only referred to as a number or other non-personal identification.
4.4 We may share a limited set of your personal data, including but not limited to browsing activities, information about the environment (browser, operating system and device) and IP address with analytics service providers.
4.5 We may share your data in case of transfer of ownership of SELETO BANK or its corresponding companies, which may or may not be part of the group of companies that operate together in favor of the availability of the PLATFORM.
4.6 We may share non-personal details about SELETO BANK users as a whole, including but not limited to the total value of transactions over a given period of time, number of users and our obligations. In this case, the data provided is never in any way related to any individual or organization.
5. JURISDICTION SPECIFIC ISSUES
5.1 For residents of the European Union. We may share your personal data with third parties outside the European Union, including Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. These parties include, but are not limited to, analytics service providers, banking institutions and advertising agencies.
5.1.1 By registering for a SELETO BANK account, you agree that we may transfer your data to third parties in accordance with chapter 4.
5.1.2 In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, SELETO BANK is the controlling company and is responsible for the PLATFORM and for any personal information provided to the PLATFORM. In some situations, SELETO BANK PAGAMENTOS SA may act as a data processor for third-party entities that may have access to your personal information, as set out in chapter 4.
5.2 For residents of Brazil. Pursuant to Law 12965/14, Article 7 X, you can request the total deletion of the data we have collected about you by emailing privacy@seletobank.com.br. In this case, we need 30 (thirty) days to request the complete removal of the information we have collected about you from the data storage systems of SELETO BANK companies and partner companies.

6.1 Request a copy of the information we collect about you.
6.2 Request correction of incorrect data about you.
6.3 Stop receiving marketing communications from us.
7. STORAGE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
7.1 We store your personal information for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which the data was collected.
7.2 Once specified information is no longer needed, it is securely removed from our records.
7.3 If you wish to stop receiving marketing communications from us, we retain your contact details to enable us to fulfill this request.
7.4 In some situations, when your data is accessed, it is done anonymously, following 4.3.
7.5 In some jurisdictions, we are required to store your personal information for an extended period of time, usually from a few months to a few years, after you request to close your account.
8. ASPECTS RELATING TO CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
8.1 We do not collect or solicit information from minors (under 16 years of age).
8.2 We do not allow minors under the age of 16 to register for a SELETO BANK account.
8.2.1 Once it becomes known that a specified account is being operated by a child under the age of 16, the account will be suspended.
8.2.2 Accounts suspended due to the age of the owner may be requested to be reactivated once the owner reaches 16 years of age.
9. COOKIES POLICY
9.1 Cookies are small files that are placed on your device by the website or application you are using. Pixel tags, clear GIFs, pixels or web beacons are small blocks of code on a web page or application that allow you to perform tasks such as reading and placing cookies and transmitting information to the PLATFORM or partners. Local storage and session storage are technologies that provide access to data storage on your device.
9.2 We use these technologies for a variety of reasons, which include basic PLATFORM functionality, session maintenance (connected state), service enhancement, and to help us maintain the security of your account.
9.3 We use third party service providers who may make use of these technologies to provide analytical data, debug information and performance data.
9.4 We may store data on your mobile device when you use the SELETO BANK website or mobile application.
9.4.1 The purpose of the information stored is also included in 9.2.
9.5 Like most websites, we may set cookies as soon as you start interacting with our platform.
9.5.1 Your web browser sends cookies to a specific domain each time it connects to that domain. This means that we are able to read a specified cookie every time a new connection is made to one of our servers.
9.5.2 In local storage and session storage, your web browser does not send this data over the network, but we may configure, capture and transmit it over the network to our servers at any time while you browse on the PLATFORM.
9.6 While we require developers using our API to be transparent in their use of cookies and storage, the use of third-party applications using the SELETO BANK API is entirely subject to the privacy policies.
